Annona tomentosa (Ariticum de Moita)
One 3 to 7 feet tall shrub from the genus Annona and from the family Annonaceae from the Brazilian savannah, well branched from the ground, forms thickets or bushes in the diameter of 2 to 3 feet. The roots have xylopodies (as thick as carrots), which are saving water and nutrients. The blossoms of the species are isolated, axilary (between the leaves and branches), mesuaring in the length of 0.8 to 1.36 inches, with 3 free standing and fleshy sepals and inside with 6 creamy yellow colored petals.
The fruits are excellent for consumption in-natura, they are aromatic.
We got our specimens by purchasing our yard.
