Grevillea robusta (Australian Silver Oak)

The Grevillea robusta is one in Australia native species from the genus Grevillea in the family Proteaceae.

Large, fast growing tree, which is also used as timber tree and is believed as the most robust species of the genus, is also used as rootstock for other more tender Grevillea species. The silvery green leaves are similar to the of Grevillea banksii. The flowers are yellowish-orange.

We have a large tree of this species in our garden, which also is flowering regulary.
