Ficus benjamina (Birch Fig)

One to 100 feet tall evergreen tropical tree from Southern and Southerneast Asia, related to the fig (Ficus carica) and the gum tree (Ficus elastica) and belongs to the family Moraceae, is not hardy in Germany and is used as house plant and arcade tree in large shopping centers in Germany.

Birch Fig (in the middle) in our front garden in the front of

our manson in August 2007, this tree was cutten down and

removed in 2012, because its roots had damaged the entry

way, but we still do have several further specimens, which

do not damage the way cover.
